First time I get banned for ages because I said KYS once to some dude flaming me in chat

Banned for one single game replying to a guy flaming me and I get the ban hammer because I said the sacred KYS word that some bot detected and banned me 2 minutes later. Yet some guy running it down in my game and trolling and losing game on purpose doesn't get banned even after I submit a ticket and link the game for you to see him troll? Please explain how 1 bad game from me because I'm getting attacked personally by some person gets me banned when it literally happened once, yet some people can continually grief and not get banned? Hello? I really don't think I deserve to get a 14 day ban because of a single bad game during a bad day.

The thing is, I know it's a bad thing and I shouldn't say it at all. However, this is the first time I get banned in ages (been playing for 8 seasons I got banned a couple of times ofc) but I was reformed, yet because of a single game I got banned for 14 days, not even 7 or a chat restriction and it's literally the only game in my chat logs.

I just find it semi unfair when it's literally only once and it was to some person equally toxic flaming. so yeah, I'm just sad considering one slip up does this and it's only because of that one word that you banned me? There are an insane amount of people that say toxic things yet because of the kys bot people get banned instantly. Just really unforgiving when I've been a good boy for a couple years and this is the first slip up in years. Anyway thanks for reading and taking your time whoever reads this, cya guys.

Doesn't matter if it's 1 or a million games. A problem is a problem. Toxic is toxic. Two wrongs don't make a right. Doesn't matter who started it or who ends it. Toxicity as of whole is an offense. Even to a troll. Not only did you feed the troll, but you let it win by you responding to it and getting punished by it. The troll was likely flagged accordingly as you were punished accordingly.

Riot's policy said there is zero-tolerance to the word. Which means regardless of the situation or circumstances, zero-tolerance means zero-tolerance. Just because you're dealing with a daily basis problem that most players encounter doesn't mean you get to stoop to their level and go against the agreement from the Terms of Use.

Riot takes it pretty seriously. I'm not sure why you felt like saying that was ok, but yes, telling others to kill themselves usually gets a 2 week ban.

In Riots eyes you can't say that period. You agreed to their terms and conditions agreeing you would forfeit the right to play for saying things like that. Is it fair? Yes, you agreed to it. Does it suck? Yeah

To be honest, I'm kind of sure that you have been flaming and being overall toxic for a while. You have probably been close to the edge of getting banned for a while and that small comment just pushed it over the edge.
