Dodging in ARAM; how to prevent it from happening.

I would love for Riot to fix the problem with people constantly dodging in ARAM when they get champions they do not like. The feeling of having a good fun champion to play but suddenly getting kicked out because someone dodged is extremely frustrating for me and a lot of other players. I wish Riot could implement something that discourages dodging. Like having your champion locked in even when you doge, you will get the same champion anyway. What do you think might help?

They did increase the dodge timers a while back, but yeah they have alt-accs probably :/

I'm still getting like 3-5x queue pops--->champ select---> dodge for ARAM here too.

There is a tiny problem with keeping the same champion, which is them going into the game and dodging with a good pick when their teams' picks are bad since they think they'll lose.

They then could theoretically build a team that's super OP and queue up as a team but that's a lot of work. <-- maybe no one would really do this, but the possibility would immediately pop into people's heads when they face a really OP team. (it's kinda like 4man+solo was not overly common but the solo player almost always felt like that was the case.)

But yeah, you're right that something needs to be done.

How about just giving them what they want? Have two separate game modes: ARAM (All Random All Mid) and APAM (All Pick All Mid). In APAM, you select your champion, while ARAM remains unchanged. People who want to use specific champions can use the new mode. The rest of us can stay with traditional ARAM.

I'd prefer the opposite to having your champion locked in even when you dodge,

what if you could choose to keep your champ, when someone dodge. Like a free re-roll basically.

I dont think people really care about waiting a couple mins at max in queues, but rather losing picks that they wanted to play. This helps that

Easy solution: Have ARAM remember the last champ you rolled when you dodged.

Then no one has a reason to dodge,
