Variety of creatures or humanoids

Hey guys, about the summoner rift maps or any other map for that matter, how come there are no humanoid enemy npcs, you know like, mercenaries, or bandits in the jungles etc like in heroes of the storm has a variety? Wouldn't a mercenary / bandit camp fit right in with the lore because it seems only enemy npcs are just wolves, gromp, frogs, stone golems but no humanoids?
