Unable to join queue due to script loading error
Okay- so dodging lobby is annoying, and leaves the other players to suffer. I mean- who wants to wait in queue, just to have someone dodge on the champ select? But, what if that person isn't really dodging? I just had a lobby where my champ selection wasn't registering.
First off, nobody's champion "prefs" were loading- so I banned Blitz first.. apparently whoever was going top wanted Blitz. So the person after me blew up- and banned Taric, my preffed champ. So I went to pick Thresh.. but it wasn't registering my selection. Then the lobby dropped. Now I'm unable to join queue- only 5 minute wait time..
But I'm just wondering.. Is there anything that can be done for Riot to recognize this problem? It's not like I deliberately dodged.. And I know intentions don't really matter too much in life.. If I shoot a gun at a target, and the bullet misses and hits someone- I'm responsible despite my intentions.. But wouldn't it be nice if there was a way to determine which players are just experiencing technical difficulties versus those who are actually dodging? So I guess I'm just wondering if Riot has ever tried tackling this issue. Is there a way to monitor someone's activity, to determine if they're experiencing script issues?
I want to play the game, and I feel it isn't fair that I have to sit in a proverbial penalty box just because my scripts wouldn't load. I didn't really do anything wrong- my computer did.
Damn HP.
