What´s the stupidest reason you lost a game?

So, i was in a game playing as annie, the other team was kind of winning but it was pretty close. At one point, they got baron and I new if we lost a teamfight with them having baron it would´ve been gg, so the safest thing to do was waiting for their baron to wear off and just defend. I had just enough money for my void staff so as they were pushing mid (just ahead of their tiear 1 turret, enough time for me to homewards to our 2 tier turret) i decided to recall fast to get it and told my team to retreat. I don´t know if they just ignored my chat, pings and recall animation or if the enemy team saw my recalling and engaged on one of them and the rest decided to counter engage but the point is, they started a teamfight. Of course, they inmediatly died, i´m pretty sure that if i were there we would´ve lost still but it still buggles me so much the fact that 4 people can´t understand that going into a 4v5 with the other team having baron, is not a good idea, it would´ve been better to let the guy die even. So tell me your stories, i want to know if im not the only one struggling with really dumb situations like this one.
