Why do I have to "Agree"?

I can't remember my last leave before this. But I live in an old house, and the wiring is starting to go bad, I can't in good faith agree to something that I can't control. One of the outlets broke so I missed the match while I repaired it, but such a circumstance is beyond my control. I cannot bring myself to agree to do something that I may not be able to control.

Why would you implement something so asinine that it genuinely leaves me with a moral dilemma in your game RIot?

...uh, if you know your infrastructure is that bad, why do you think you can, in good faith, complete the games you start?

do you think other people care why exactly you ruined their game and stole 4*40+ minutes of their lives

I don't understand. If the wiring is problematic, why not fix it? If it's beyond your control, who can control it?

Why should other players be forced to deal with your electrical issues?

I just don't understand.

The point is that you're not supposed to attempt to play League knowing there is a good chance you'll disconnect. Whether that be a poor Internet connection, bad wiring, a computer prone to overheating, etc.

There are 9 other players in that game, and anything short of a completely unpredictable emergency is not going to make them feel any better about losing the opportunity to have a competitive game.

If it's in any way within your ability to repair, predict, or even suspect any game-interrupting event that may occur, it's your responsibility to other players not to expose them to any unreasonable or unnecessary risk.

House is on fire? No problem, run for your life. Sudden family emergency? No one can fault you for that. But you know perfectly well the wiring in your house is of poor quality. It is entirely within your control to get it fixed, or if that is not possible, to not play League. It may not seem fair to you, but it's just as unfair to the other players that experience the side-effects of your problems.

Why would you do something so asinine to use your own argument as to queue up knowing you have bad wiring in your house and you'll get disconnected? It's not beyond your control at all, you can fix the issue or not queue up knowing you have an issue full well. You also agreed to follow the rules in order to install the game and so can't claim you can't agree to it since you already did.

This would be like buying a really old car that pretty much falling apart and driving it without fixing it because you don't want to have to obey the law or do what's proper and not drive until it's fixed.

so your options are either don't queue up and play only custom bot games until you get it fixed or get perma banned eventually.
