PSA: DON'T CLICK ON RANDOM LINKS!

So a while ago I remember Riot released a post about how you shouldn't click on random League of Legend links no matter how authentic it looks. And yet I still get numerous amount of messages from Friends that sent me a link to a League giveaway thing on a 'na.leagueoflegends.com' website. So recently, I get a particular link from a close friend of mine about free Championship Riven(s). I immediately responded to him saying, 'dont click on link- its a scam- lol' and he responded 'ik'. So I was a bit confused with why he would send me the link in the first place. And that particular friend of mine sent that link to another one of my closest friends (we're a trio) and of course being my gullible friend, he clicked on the link. However I didn't notice this until two weeks later. So within these two weeks of my friend clicking on the link his account got HACKED. At first he thought I did it because it was April First, but I don't even know his account info. My friend couldn't login to League for the next two weeks because he got hacked. Later he realised that his password got changed from someone. So we send support tickets, and two weeks later they respond with a useless message. So my friend also did that 'forget password' thing and got the email for it two weeks later for some reason. Blah-blah-blah he gets his account back and I make jokes about how he got hacked. Later, I told him a story on how our friend sent me a link to the Free Championship Riven(s) and then he went silent. At that moment I knew that he clicked on the link. I mean clicking on the link isn't that bad, but then he did something even worse... HE ENTERED ALL HIS ACCOUNT INFO INTO WEBSITE because he claimed, and I quote, 'It looked official. It was on their website.' And I immediately facepalmed at my friend. So basically moral of this event that occurred is not to click on random links.

TL;DR Friend clicks on a Free Championship Riven(s) link and enters account info, gets hacked.
