Can we expect Champion mastery rewards

Such as Heroes of the Storm. Will there ever be a thing where you get a certain amount of experience on a champion and unlock stuff (skins, special runes [as they've done in the past], portraits, ward skins). I understand where this could be quite hard to accomplish consider there are a shit ton of champions currently. but, it would still be really cool and encouraging to play a certain champion or role

I don't see them doing this because some people will take it to mean that if you don't have/ aren't using the reward from a certain champ that you plan to play that are trolling/ aren't good.
