Surrender and remake

I have experienced countless games where summoners are surrendering and remaking games that are winnable. With this option while being helpful it comes with a downfall whereas people trying their best to achieve victory are shut down completely and basically forced to take defeat if the rest of the team choose to surrender out of pure negativity. I just had a game as the team's top laner, I got first turret,my score was 10/5/2 and by the time i was about to take the inhibitor turret my team surrendered. The score for the entire team was 18/21/10 for my team and 21/18/19 for the enemy team. They got 1 turret on us and we got 3 on them including the 2 I took during my top lane push. Each team took a dragon. So i don't see why my team would surrender and its very unfair. The message I wanted to get out is that many people abuse the surrender and remake options. I believe some adjustments should be make to them for example, winning a game with one afk member grants bonus experience or league points, or anything just to encourage players to fight harder in games.
