Tournament advertised by League of Legends NA Facebook Group = Waste of Time
Greetings to all summoners of North America, I've created this post to talk about the worst tournament experience I went through today and how League of Legends NA Facebook group should of organized the tournament. I have done you all a favor and posted the admins for the League of Legends NA Facebook group in case any of you experienced tournament organizers want to maybe message them a tips about tournament organization. It's been about one week since I've participated in a tournament 5v5 Draft and with absolute tunnel vision I spot the post which is also a screenshot in the link section. So before this post the Admins in the League of Legends NA Facebook group posted another advertisement prior to this one four days before the event which was held today - Saturday 7/23/2016 8PM EST. So in total the Admins had about four days to put this 5v5 Draft tournament together and as you can see there are many Admins that run the group, so I register for the tournament at 5 PM PST which is my time and registration and everything is going according to their plans, they got a total of 80 members to join the tournament which means there would be 16 teams in total and the tournament prizing was $20 RP and $10 for Duul website. However things didn't go according to "their plans" and so because there was a lack of players and teams missing their members they tried to come up with a solution and boy let me tell that their solution only brought more unhappiness to the remaining teams that waited for 2-3 hours for the tournament to start and man do I feel for all of you first time tournament players because that 2 - 3 wait that could of been avoided with a simple announcement from the beginning when the admins realized that there were not enough players meaning that the brackets were going to have to change and on top of all of this cluster of nonsense that these admins had us (Teams 9 - 16) waiting for only to be disappointed when all the time we spent waiting was for the admins to fix the teams and get the tournament going but instead they decided it would be easier to drop 8 registered teams from playing the tournament because they were missing members from like 2 or 3 teams. Long story short please give these admins advice about tournament organization because the tournament that was suppose to happen didn't happen and half the registered players remained in utter shock that there could be so much unorganized planning in a tournament.
