Ok, so i'm going to start with a little about me since i'm new to the forums. My names Mathew and 15. I have been playing league for around 3 days and I have a problem and maybe some of you have a solution. Ok so i'm really hooked on this game. I haven't been so addicted to a game since when I played WoW. But when I first started everything was fine. But as I leveled up a few times. I started getting angry at the game all the time. This may be because I don't take breaks (I am one of the no-lifers that play for long periods of time). I prob play 15-20 Hours at a time then sleep and repeat for the past 3 days. But I feel like i'm not getting any better at the game. I actually feel like I suck at the game. I rage all the time, I have actually had a few friends IG delete me because me raging at the whole team for not working together....I try being as nice as I can but I hate losing. I mean would you be happy if you played a lot in one sitting but you always lose. I feel I win probably 2/10 matches. It's ridiculous, Earlier I actually thought about quitting because all this game did was make me frustrated and angry. Is there any way I can get better at the game any tips on how to cool down after a bad game. Any advice would be nice. Thanks.

What you are describing is a text book case of "going on tilt". Due to a combination of fatigue, frustration, and emotional decision-making, your performance is in the toilet. What's even worse, you're raging at players, and could land yourself a chat restriction or ban.

First of all, you're playing too much. No really, 15-20 hours gives you a high quantity or number of games, but you said yourself that you win 2/10 and it makes you angry. Aim for fewer games, and enjoying them more. Improve the quality of your games.

League is a complex game that starts out basic, then adds layers as you look to improve your skills. If you're passionate about League, why not take breaks to watch pro players? YouTube will also provide you with tons of tutorials, tips on strategy, and even fun video compilations. Look at community sites that post the latest builds and counterpicks/champion tiers. There is a lot of League content you can get into that can be done between games.

Take a break from the PC screen entirely! Your body performs better when it is well rested, well fed, and well oxygenated! Some pro players will not play a single game until they've hit the gym first. Exercise raises your heart rate, and gets oxygen-rich blood rushing around your body. You will learn better, react quicker, and think more clearly. Exercise works better than ANY product on the market in the long run.

If you're truly wanting to get better at League, simply spamming games will only get you so far. There are many lessons on conventional strategy, map awareness, lane pressure, key warding locations, how to counter certain team compositions or builds, etc. NONE of these lessons are going to come easy if you just play more games and keep making the same mistakes. There are plenty of resources that are just waiting to improve your gameplay by bringing you up to speed on things the tutorial just doesn't cover.

When is the best time to make a dragon attempt? The opposing team is taking dragon! Should we contest it? When should my team think about taking Baron? What's a good cs score to have by the 10 minute mark? 20 minutes? I just got ganked, who's at fault?

All these answers can be found outside of League. Meanwhile, you could play another 400 games and never learn the correct answers.

My boyfriend said: You're probably bad, a lot worse than you realize and you're not going to realize it until you put the time into the game and learn.

You're still only level 12 you don't know how to really play the game yet, give it time.

I am in the same boat. I play literally all day and get 4 hours of sleep on schoolnights, and I have failed half my college classes because I can't stop playing this game.

Yet i'm still Bronze5.
