lag issuse on new client

is any one else getting lots of lag spikes on the new client ever since I switched I have been getting massive lag issues and it is not my Ethernet I have the best I can I get where I live I get around 50 ms normally then all of the sudden I will get 200-1000 ms out of no where idk if this is a bug or what it is was just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem as me.
