@Riot: How were the "Recomended Champs for 2017" selected?

First things first: the 2016 review looks amazing and is really interesting! Congratulations are in order! You guys did an excelent work with it.

Now a bit of a curiosity: How were those recomended champs selected? Was that champions-commonly-played-by-the-same-player chart used as a guide? Some of those seemed really random. My most played champions were , , , , and . For some reason, I got sugested Top, Jungle, Mid, Bot, and Support. And for some odd reason, with the exception of Taric, those are all champions I've been wanting to play lately.

So please reveal to us: what kind of black magic did you used? Have you taken a peek at 's scroll? Did you made a pact with ? Or technology has shown you the way ?
