I might have an idea how to fix Soraka
Hello Community, im here to write down my suggestion, how Soraka might become a more interactive, more counterable champion that is less of a frequent visitor in the patch notes.
- Q: Starcall
Remove the self heal Increase the Range Decrease the Missile Speed Increase the AP Ratio Keep the slow
Buff : Grants her the MS Buff and Mana (X% AP) Mana Gain stacks when hit multiple enemies
More rewarding for experienced players who can hit the Q.
Goals : More vulnerable to all ins, tempted to buy AP and therefore squishy
- W: Astral Infusion
No more % Health Cost Increase Mana Cost immensly Soraka can heal herself but it increases the CD significantly and is less effective Can still transfer the Buff and a small % of the Mana she gained.
W mana cost is bigger than Q mana gain.
So basically the same old tradeoff -> Soraka heals but now needs mana instead of health so she has to hit the Q. More Mana on new (6.9) AP items therefore squishy. The new Q should be easier to dodge. So now you can make her run oom early when she is in lane and she has to decide wether to heal herself or the ally at all ins.
Might promote Solo Lane Soraka but she can´t herself as effective and she needs lots of mana, so shes weak early.
So i might not have changed much but i hope the outcome would promote a healthier Soraka.
