I think there needs to be more ways of getting chests

I posted this in the YouTube comments of the recent Runes Reforged video but I thought it best to put this here too.

Personally, I think there needs to be more of a focus on chests, rather than a focus on keys and key fragments. It's all well and good having a higher chance at getting fragments but you still don't get nearly enough in the way of chests.

Having it so that you can only get 1 per champion, per season, when a season takes such a long time to roll over, I think, makes little sense. You could argue it stops people from getting too many chests and not enough keys, or that it encourages variety with your champion selection, and while those are good arguments, it doesn't cater to everyone and alienates those who either own very few champions or simply don't have many champions that they like to play, which to me seems unfair and punishing for those who favor a certain champion and/or newer players. But that isn't all, even if you play a decent handful of champions, are fairly experienced with the game and play matches well enough to get a chest, because the seasons last so long, you're still going to quickly get through your champions and end up like me, with 6 or 7 keys and no way of getting more chests.

The other problem is that it also alienates those like me, who choose to be free to play or those who don't have much money to spend on games and don't want to spend it on a game they may not get to play often, for things that in the grand scheme of things, are pointless, particularly when not a champion shard. And you might also argue, 'Well they don't need to open them to enjoy the game, as you said the rewards are essentially pointless, they don't need skins', and to an extent that is true, but players like this would be missing out on a entire section of the game and a big part of any game is getting attached to a character and making them your own, because of this problem, players can end up not enjoying the game as much as they could, because they aren't attached.

I understand that you're a company that needs to make money and that giving away too many chests could hurt profits but I am not asking for a big change, just some small alternate way of getting them. I can't say I know how this could be accomplished but just something to give the players like us a little more of a reason to keep coming back would be greatly appreciated.
