Dynamic Queue a problem? Why don't you have friends to play with?

Riot keeps trying to force people to get together with friends and build a community. We fight it tooth and nail like we don't want to play with our friends. I still don't see how playing by yourself is a basis to test your skills in a team based game. Why do so many have an aversion to playing with friends? You must have a problem because you if you don't wish to play against, you must not be able to play with friends to counter it. A true test of skill is playing solo against a team. Maximum effort!
