Ranked Inactivity Warning System

Hi Guys, So I recently got Diamond V about 2 months ago after spamming ranked and wanted to take a break of League for a little while until preseason. I still go online every couple of days (2-3) to play a normal or check on things and after a few weeks of not playing ranked I got my first inactivity warning yesterday. Just now did I have to find out that I got demoted just hours after getting my first warning. In my opinion that is a far too short warning and I never got any number on how many days I have to set another Ranked Game on the Account. I got really upset about that since I now get forced to play ranked just because the Client couldn't tell me a bit earlier that I am at the breach of inactivity. What if I hadn't had time for a ranked yesterday (which was the case) ? I know the System is there to keep the competitiveness at higher ranks but I would really like to get the opinions of others to this and even maybe from a Rioteer.
