NA Server Lag

Since the about the 4.13 I have been getting a lot of lag and I am on NA servers in CA. And I know its not my internet because everyone else in the house is doing fine. Never have I gotten over about 60-70 ping, unless my brother was patching WoW, but since the 4.13 patch my ping will randomly jump from 60-70 all the way to 500+ or even 1000+ making the game borderline unplayable. And just today (8/16/14) my ping started at 100 and quickly jumped too 300+ then back down, but started to stay and 300-400. I personally have reset my internet and done everything I can from my end, so I can only guess that its something with Riots servers.

I can understand the fact the community is growing and maintaining servers are hard, but perhaps its time to either upgrade or make more server farms for more capacity. Maybe Riot needs to hire more people for their server teams or something. I know other players are experiencing this because I see in game and hear about it all the time.

I fear that if this issue is not resolved soon Riot will loose players, even if it is just for a brief period of time, it can make a great impact. Then again I could be completely wrong, its just my opinion take or leave it.
