In terms of improvement, self-disciplined work aside, internships are really great. You've probably heard it a million times, but it's true. You get hands on experience in the professional environment without the commitment of a full-time job. This will also make finding a job post-grad much easier, as you now have some real-time experience underneath your belt. Riot has an internship program, you might can look into it for next year.
That aside, I'd recommend setting up a LinkedIn page. Most major companies are on there, and it's a great method for communication and for finding new opportunities as companies can directly post openings that they have (Riot does this as well).
Hope this helps a bit.
Irrelevant: I visited Georgia Southern a few years ago when deciding which college to attend, and the campus was really awesome.
