Why is smurfing a thing?

Why is it perfectly fine for a person who is level 30 and possibly ranked bronze five or better to que with below level 30 characters. I understand the max level players being put within their mmr. Smurfing is just no fun for anyone who isn't a massive jerk. You are denied a challenge because smurfs always stomp the enemy team, the enemy team is denied a fair fight, the enemy summoner is denied a chance to actually measure how well they are doing. This happens ALL the time and no one seems to care, the response is "its normals so why care".

I can't do ranked yet, I want to level but I can't stand losing every single match because your Plat 1 friend wanted to play with his buddies who are just starting out (Lets call bull on this right now too, you're power leveling and carrying admit it) or because you want to level another level 30 account. The sharp difference in skill destroys any chance of a fun game. I understand overcoming a challenge but this is a david and goliath situation except I don't have a slingshot, I have a pea shooter against tripple quints

with matchmaking most every game is hard. I just like to play a fun mess-around game sometimes.

ok if a smurf is good they tend to get put at a higher MMR rather than playing with others who are at lower MMR below level 30

Sometimes people want to start fresh with a new account to try and climb Ranked without their past history dredging them down.

Sometimes people want to play with lowbie friends without imbalancing the matchmaking too badly.

Sometimes people have nothing to boost their self-esteem with besides getting lots of kills in online video games.

Bronze V players smurfing just makes it quicker for new players to level up. You get more exp when you win.

Why does Riot ignore pre-30 bots fucking around in Dominion, ARAM and some times SR? Why does Riot ignore lvl30 blocks IP-Grinding in Dominion?

Pls. Don't bother us fucking smurfs, we have bots to deal with.

I'll even add you on my smurf/main if you want to not get smashed by high level Smurfs, I'm just Bronze. As for why, I dropped to B5 and I'm using smurfing as a relaxing break since half the players (In SR) are smurfs so it's not degrading me or antthing.

Honestly from what ive seen of Smurfs most of them are those people who feel the need to trash-talk, and own new players. I never understood it either. They will purposely make it so they have a low MMR and as such be able to go against people who are far below their standards of the game. I rarely find people who smurf to play with a friend, or any other excuses you see about people wanting to play with low level people.

It kind of depends on the person. There's trolls, there's youtuber series, there's people wanting to start over. This sort of thing happens with a lot of online games.

You know, it hurts and it's irritating when you simply wipe me off the friend list because you can't deal with me patiently saying Ori can't support... especially after I said you have to balance tear or finish a Ice as support.

Don't contact me my ass. You're just toxic and you have a degrading attitude toward smurfs. You know their team and Amu been taunting me all game and you continue to make it worst.

Shame on you. Whose the one who called support after Blitz and literally went support anyway before going up top vs Garen and lost lane?

TLDR : "Smurfing is just no fun for anyone who isn't a massive jerk." Proceeds to bash me and delete me when I was patiently explaining instead of screaming "OMG NO YOU DUMBASS' like you say smurfs would when everybody has been insulting me.

deal with it. if their account get banned they have a back up. they dont want their starting friends to get pounded.

learn the champions and game and you should be able to win

For the same reason people say gg ez and generally are assholes to others.

Human kind likes to dump on others, it gives them a superficial sense of superiority over others, even if this game is completely pointless in actual life.
