Why is the Ranked playerbase so bad no matter what you do?

I have tried to be nice, ive tried being toxic, ive tried building what people tell me to build, people ask me for advice, I give it, yet for some reason. I always get the people with the mindset: "Oh damn, this is a strategy/teamwork game, I better 420 blaze it, run in 1v5" And then you get an Irelia jungle, who is doing alright, being nice and everything and then it hits you, Irelia has been standing in top lane with no turret, in the tri bush on red teams side, for the past 10 minutes waiting on each minion wave so she can farm it meanwhile were all dying in the base 4v5 after theyve gotten fed off people running in 1v5. Like, why? I know it doesnt happen to just me, but why was I cursed, what did I do wrong, I mean, I can't.. like I don't understand.. I want to put my head in a paper shredder..
