Borders ( In team ranked )

Hello , I will get straight to the point with it . I recently got in a ranked 5v5 team in which we are silver 2 at the moment, In solo queue I am silver 3. I want to go to gold V with my ranked team but I don't really know how the borders work now-a-days. I would really want a gold border but I don't know if I can get that same gold border ( From team ranked 5v5 ) into , for example , a normal summoners rift game. The lasts posts I checked about this were in 2013-2014 so I don't know if it has changed. I also new to the community ( been playing it for 1 year now ). I thank you for reading this post. I am sorry for my bad English , it is not my first language.

So to get the point straigth : Do I get my gold border shown in summoners rift ( example ) when I reach gold V in team ranked 5v5 or do I need to reach gold V in solo queue ?
