"Hooks" aern't that hard to land.

Thresh and Blitzcrank. Seriously, you're not that great. Your hook is just like any other skillshot, and landing "clutch hooks" is no better than an ezreal landing a Q besides it's extremely small cast time. Just thought I'd put this out there as some have apparently forgotten.
