unfair queues

there is no way mmr is the messed up I just played a game where it was their team a s2, 3 s3's, and a s4 versus a b1, a s5, a s3, and a s2 plus someone who is unranked 4 games into their previsional matches winning 2 and losing 2. Not to mention the jungler on their team claimed to be a smurf. I did badly because I got ganked 7 times by various people dying under my tower, and my jungler claimed he couldn't gank me because I wasn't drawing them out. (i was under my tower not sure what he wants from me) But anyways, how does that make sense. the stranger thing is that apparently our teams average mmr was higher than theirs. How does that even work?
