Purchasing Alternates for Experienced Players / Improving New Player Experience
The thought here is that new players can experience games with botting and experienced players that already are over level 30 and ranked in solo queue that are looking to create an alternate lower elo identity for themselves for faster queue times with a more dense population, or even seeing how far they can get from the placement matches with a fresh start. There is no way to stop this, but there is a way to help out new players so that they do not need to experience bots and smurfs and leave an unpleasant sour taste in their mouths about League of Legends ruining their fun and turning them away from League altogether (on a marketing side for Riot's sake this is bad for business).
Since there is no way to stop alternate accounts from happening then might as well give players with a certain point of mastery (not the champion mastery system people) to the game the accessibility to create that fresh start alternate identity in a way that does not ruin new player fun and learning to the game.
Here is the idea:
You can purchase an alternate identity on the same account, it will be unranked (0 elo) in all queue types, but be a level 30 account and share ALL purchases (IP/RP) that the main identity has (so purchases can only be made on the main identity); so you can have a fresh start without interfering with new player experience.
The cost per alternate identity will be 50,000 IP ONLY (This should not be an RP purchase), and I am thinking up to a maximum of 2 alternate identities per account. The reason for IP only and a steep IP cost is because this is a system that should be only for experienced players, and not everyone should be having alternate identities; 50,000 IP will be nothing for those that actually need an alternate identity.
(P.S. The obvious should be stated that you actually need the main to be level 30 to buy alternate identities, but I also do not know how much IP one can get from 1-30 anyways.)
