I got permabanned for playing with a drophacker/scripter although I didn't know he was cheating

He was on my friends list for months but I didn't really know him, he was stuck in diamond 5 for months and then got to diamond 1 in one week, bragged about it & asked me to duo. I was watching him and he was clearly scripting, enemy team complained about it also. We were losing really hard and suddenly everyone DC'd and the game disappeared. Then he deleted me and changed his name. (but I still got matched with him a few days later and he asked me if I remember him, then he changed his name again after the game) Riot support can't tell me exactly why I got banned but this is the only reason that I could think of. Is there any way I could explain this to a Rioter? Riot support is not helping me at all, they haven't responded to my ticket for 23 days.
