I vote that we should have player moderators but only in a limited structure and only after a thorough screening to avoid any potential abuse cases. Player moderation in the forums should be limited to flagging posts for serious offenses such as blatant hate speech for automated deletion pending an investigation, moving of threads to appropriate sub-community locations in the instance of incorrect posting location, and the hiding of comments and threads for the purpose of stopping spam, harmful link posting, and blatant user abuse all pending investigation by an actual Riot employee.

This system would also have all player moderator actions reviewed and processed by official Riot employees/moderators to double check the work and allow for immediate cessation of moderator privileges for that player following willful abuse cases. This system would also most likely require the moderator actions to be identified as player/official moderator action by the automated action notice and allow for a support ticket submission or secondary review privilege to ensure that any questionable moderator actions, whether player/official, can be reviewed at the user's request given viable reasoning present on questionable content.

I'd like to see Player Moderators, but what i'd like to see them be empowered with is relatively limited; I would say they should be given the ability to mute a player for their current/next game, and push that player to the tribunal/be considered for punishment by the great ban hammer used when tribunal is down, without having to wait for multiple reports etc; they'd have to provide a reason, and have good evidence in chat that at least a majority of those on their team/in game have issue with the individual in question.
