Ok so my goal this season is to get silver (my first year playing ranked) and I know that if I get silver I get to have a border when they give out season rewards. So my question is, does that border last forever? For example if I earn it in season 5 I know I'll get it for season 6 but will I also get it in the coming seasons? Season 7,8,9? Thanks!!
No you have to continuously earn that border every season.
I haven't really been paying attention in load to my border, but I think I still have my season 3 silver boarder. (I didn't play any season 4 ranked)
No. The boarders you receive are always based off of your achievements from the previous season. So you will get the silver boarder for Season 6, but you need to reach silver again in Season 6 if you want the boarder for Season 7.
