Don't get me wrong
Patch 6.9 I love this patch, sincerely, I really do. But there are so many problems with it, and I mainly love it because I love playing casters, I main Vel'Koz a lot when I get the chance and this patch is great, but I will point out why it's keeping me away from playing.

You balanced the mages completely wrong It was your guys reasoning to do things to the mages based on what made them Unique, but you actually did the opposite. For example, you said Vel'Koz would be by far the strongest damaging mage of the update due to true damage and reconstructing and having complete knowledge of the enemy due to getting 3 stacks, but you didn't follow up with this because what actually happened was you gave Annies Ult by itself more damage, in a shorter time frame, as well as keeping her stun for said ult so they can't move for a second or two. Brand needs no explanation as his passive circles due absurd amounts of damage when they really shouldn't do more damage than the person you said would have the most out of the update. Zyra can lay more plants and attack fast enough to out damage vel'koz's ult as well(all of this is even when his ult does true damage). And I haven't had to play against a Veigar or Vladimir yet. Hell even some of the "minor" mages actually dish out more damage than Vel'Koz and i know what ur gonna say, "ur only complaining cause ur a vel'koz main fan boy etc,." so what? the problem still exists and we all know it.

Turrets and Dragons I just cannot stop complaining about turrets, they are weak, they are frail past 5 minutes. And before this patch it would've been a good idea for said buff, but you guys actually hid the nerf from us, and it's a big nerf, turrets get around 66-67% damage reduction, right? Wrong. That damage reduction is completely negated because turrets are now subsceptible to true damage and penetration effects. Turrets used to last 3 seconds if the team is all on them, now they last .5-1second, THAT IS LITERALLY 1 TURRET SHOT, ITS SO UNBELIEVABLY UNACCEPTABLE! Dragon buffs are great except one.. Earth Dragon. This was not needed, at all, and it needs to be removed from the game, it's too much, whether my team has it or the enemy team, once you get one of these, just pick a lane and turrets are yours. 10% true damage, nope, you can go all the way up to a full 30% That is RIDICULOUS!

Items are good I like them but theres a problem here as well, they are stale, you can't build anything other than what was changed or else you get nuked. Enjoy rushing a rabadons by getting a needlessly large rod first? Too bad, because Rod of Ages is a much better rush since you'll get the same AP, and more survivability than rushing a Rabadons. Nothing here says build something other than a Hextech item, Rod, a tear/morello/athenes then get a rabadons and tank afterwards. Because if you build anything else, you die. You can't even do a decent rylais and liandrys combo anymore because the burn damage gets negated by the hextech/rod of ages heals.
tl;dr= It's a good patch, but in the end its overtuned, didn't accomplish its goals that much by setting mages apart(as there are only 3 viable ones to choose from now for your team and I forgot to add this but some mages who didn't get an update were also pushed out of the game too.
