Help a student research league communities, because academia should be fun!

Hi Guys, I’m an undergraduate anthropological student currently enrolled in an ethnographic methods class. I’m interested in digital communities, particularly the league community. Our professor has instructed us to go into a community and conduct a short ethnographic work. For those that aren’t familiar with anthropology, that means to both participate and observe those in the community. I’m wondering if there’s a few kind souls that’ll help me with my project!

I would either observe or participate in the games that you would play, and talk with you on skype through both informal interviews and conversations. It’s pretty low commitment, and depending on how many people help out, it would take maybe 30 to 1 hour out of your day once a week/two weeks. I’m unranked and I haven’t been playing too seriously, so I don’t mind playing if you think I’ll mess up the games!

It would be really nice to also get a diverse group of people to talk to, different elo levels and different commitment levels, everyone is fine. I’d also love to be able to talk to other girls and their opinions on league, since I don’t meet many other girls on league too! It gets a little lonely being the only girl in the school league club.

I can do skype/discord, whatever works. If you’re interested please shoot me a message! Thanks!
