To those complaining about lack of champion diversity in pro play:
The redditJS Project
Here's an interesting stat for you: 66% of the champion pool (81 of 123 champions) has been played so far in S5 (which has been like, what, 2 months? 1.5 months?) in pro play, across the 5 major regions (Korea, China, North America, Europe, Taiwan) (credit to Notagingerman on reddit for this)
inb4 "But Lee Sin/J4/Gnar/Lissandra/whoever get played every single game!" or "One (or more) pick(s) doesn't mean they're viable/meta/whatever" or "Other regions don't matter, only NA/EU/whatever"
