Preseason Question

I posted this in the game-play and balance boards also because I wasn't sure which one it went into. I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet but I have a question. I have went from Bronze 4 to Bronze 1 in a week and a half and trying to get to Silver 5 by the start of the next season. If the preseason games how you place in Season 5 and if I make it to Silver 5 will I be placed into that division when the season starts? or will I be placed back into a bronze division and make all this work for nothing?
