Could the LoL Client feature patch notes as one of the tiles?

I was just wondering if it is possible that they take the above title as a feature they could implement in the LoL client.

Because of the tedious nature that is typing in the search bar of a web browser, it would be a lot easier if instead of being in the downloading screen of the client, it could be in the main screen of the client.

I was also wanting to ask in the future if they have any plans on customizing the tiles in the main screen of the client, a bit like how steam gives you recommendations.
