Is anyone else a little ..... "Dissatisfied" with the elise rappel nerf?

not sure I'm posting this in the right place but, as an elise player, and a pretty darn good one if you ask me ^^, this change really hit me hard, I mean its not much of a gap closer anymore, you only land on you're target if they aren't moving in which case why you even need rappel. I'm not gonna sit here and rage that riot is wrecking good champions etc.etc. but I would like an explanation as to why rappel was left in its current state ( which i consider to be frankly useless :/ (as a gap closer -.-)) instead of reworking the skill entirely into something more useful perhaps? Thanks for reading, also if anyone found this to be "flamey" or "ragey" I really don't want to come off this way, I am simply dissatisfied and downright confused. Rappel was far too strong a gap closer before. You were allowed to jump far beyond it's indicated range which didn't allow for any real counter play to it. Waste flash to get outside of the circle? sorry you didn't get far enough outside of it's indicated range you're still dead. That's just bad game play. I don't really play elise much but the few times I have recently I didn't find much issue with snagging people with my rappel as long as they weren't already outside of the indicator range which is quite large.

Elise rappel is the only escape abillitie for her so why nerf the range? like thats is op??? and i know soon de basic attack range will change and her spiderlings health, her q and w. this isn't fair.you look at champions that are famous on lcs but not at champions that are op but you only look at champions that are op and if you nerf them a lot of people wil be mad. like riven why not nerf her???
