LP Gains/Losses / Demotion

Hey guys, recently just got demoted from Plat 5, losing only 2 games at 0 LP. I really don't think its fair that I should get knocked out of plat because at least one player on my team feeds a lot of kills early before disconnecting. I totally get why this is in place, but I think there should be some tool in place to evaluate whether the loss was the individual player's fault. You have a match review system that can record how well a player does throughout the game, so maybe the LP loss should be based around individual performance at each stage of the game or the gold earned at the end.

Something like say the average gold earned at 10 minutes for Plat 5 top lane is 5k. If you're sitting on 6k at that time you should gain more LP than if you won the game with 4k at 10 minutes. Also you should lose less LP / mmr standing if you have better than average gold. You guys definitely have the data to easily implement something like this, and I feel it will make a much more interesting ladder system that will actually reward you for performing better, rather than getting carried/couldn't carry/etc.

It's not really fair when I have 300 Cs at like 35 minutes and was on the ball for every objective, but lose the game because my Lucian thinks he's an assassin/tank champ and dives the enemy carry, and lose 20 LP despite earning 2k gold more than the second most valuable player on my team. I'm not trying to say hey I'm really good and deserve to be ranked higher, its just kind of a pain that when you get a chain of bad teammates and keep losing that your mmr goes down and you continue to get matched with worse and worse players until you get dropped from your ladder. This is a team game and the system in place treats it as a single player game.

Basically, you should calculate LP gains and losses based on performance rather than hidden mmr and should disable demotion if a member on your team disconnects.
