Compatibility of East Asian Languages

With the new client online, I am rather sad that it no longer supports east Asian languages anymore. Being a Chinese speaker myself, it is difficult to communicate with other Chinese-speaking players because while I am capable of chatting in English, many of my Chinese friends do not use English proficiently. We used to be able to type east Asian characters in the client chat, but now when we try to do that, only a blank chat box shows up. This is not something absolutely necessary, but it would be nice if Riot can #makechinesecompatibleagain
