I am starting to think 10 bans would be too much. Am I crazy?

I am starting to think that 10 bans is too many. I use to be like many others. But unless you are just trying to ban out all the assholes, you don't really need more bans. You only need to ban the assholes that counter your assholes. The problem comes when you aren't playing any assholes or assholes that are easily countered (which is like not playing an asshole at all). In ranked, you should always be playing whatever asshole you can! Ranked should be for "tryhards".

Do you agree that their should be some difference in the mind set of normals vs RANKED? I don't worry about Mundo when I am playing Vayne. Other than that, I ban him all day. I don't need a special extra ban to ensure that he not be in the match.

Also, there are 4 lanes of gold. If I am equally good at 3 champs per lane that is 12. I may also be good at some supp champs. With five bans I might be banned out of everyone I am good at in a particular role. Should I be expected to be RANK level at 4,5, or 6 champs at my favorite lane.... just in case.

I still think different divisions should have different rules but no one else seems to agree. Start off with x amount of bans then as you move up the ranks you put on your big boy pants around GOLD 1. # bans from then on. BUT apparently this client can only handle one SET of rules.

Am I wrong?
