Tips to get out of Gold? Specifically gold 2 :D

Hello, i am actually struck in gold division, i usualle get up and down between gold 2 and gold 4 constantly.

I'm trying to get better to get to platinum, but no matter what i do it just seems that i cant get past gold 2, i usually climb up until half gold 2 then drop a lot of game sin succession and i find myself back at the bottom of gold 3-4. This happened to me various time, at least 5-6 times, climbing all the way up to gold 2 takes time.

So it's various months that im there and i have no clue on what to do to move on.

I'll tell you a little bit more about my playstyle, i play all the lanes or jungle without much problems, i played this game enough years to learn the various lane and having a decent champion pool to pick from for each lane. I usually never have a SUPER BAD game, that means it's very unlikely that i'll tilt and go scores like 2/10 stuff like that, i stay at a low death numbers almost always. It's also true that i can't carry games super hard, i mean sometimes i can, but other times i am more of a backbone of the team, i'd say 50% of the times i can carry games, the other 50% no.

I generally have decent map awareness, i try to track enemy jungler, i try to think always before acting, and usually i provide a good map vision with wards.

So with that said i have something to ask you? Do you think it's better to focus on very few champions and just get super super good at it? May that be a way to climb up?

Or there is something else i am missing out? any suggestion is welcome, thanks
