Whats the deal with Doda 2?

Look, I'm just saying that Doda and League are like twins. The champions and the map (Summoners Rift) are the same. The spells are the same as well. So, do you think League copied Doda, or is it the other way around?

I see Dota 2 as an HD version of Dota (based of what I have read and seen about it).

The original Dota was released in 2003, I believe. It was a originally a mod for Starcraft. Vavle bought the rights to reproduce the game and that's how Dota 2 was created. The open beta for Dota 2 was released in 2011 and it went live in 2013. League was released in 2009 and one of the people who worked on Dota, Icefrog, helped out with creating League.

You can easily look all this up if you want more in dept information.

Dota 2 (as it is called, not "Doda") and League of Legends are like siblings. They both originate from the Warcraft 3 Mod "Defense of the Ancients" or DotA, and the project, as it was a community mod, was passed down from creator to creator who each did their own work and modifications of the characters. One of the mod creators (IceFrog, as mentioned by RedStarLights) went on to make League of Legends, and in valves general ingenuity (the same plan was used with TF2, as TF1 was a Quake mod) hired some of the other modders that worked on DotA and gave them the resources to make Dota 2. The main differences between Dota 2 and League of legends stems from the fact that Dota attempted to hold the path that the original DotA mod made, while League worked on making their own path with the newly develop genre.
