My Personal Matchmaking Issue

So, basically, my personal issue with Matchmaking is that any time I'm matched up, Ranked or otherwise, I am forced into a Carry position. This applies no matter the role I am in. To elaborate, my teammates are generally between Silver 5 and Silver 3, with occasional unrankeds or the odd Gold. However, regardless of my team's experience/ mmr, they look to me to lead. I am Silver 4, and in my opinion deserve to be more like Silver 5 based on my skill, but either way, I have to lead them. Why, I ask, am I being forced to lead a team of 5 when I am bad? Why are my choices the ones followed, and why, if I am silent ping wise or words, does Noone else take charge? Is this just an unconfident Silver's thing? Or does this issue pursue to higher elo? Higher elo and higher skilled players, please advise me on what to do with a team of unconfident players who neither work as a team, listen, or lead. Please advise.

Also, to add, my opposing teams that I face are generally either lead by experienced players, or they all work well enough together to win.

Tl;dr: I'm Silver 4 and expected to carry, despite my being bad at League.
