PSA: Elise's Ability Sequence should be R>W>E>Q, contrary to popular guides and trends.
Ever since i picked up
after her huge buffs last season, I've had good success but rarely see allied or enemy Elise do well with her, which gave me a feeling the top guides were probably suggesting to max q 2nd, but was really surprised when they all said max it first.
Imo this is so wrong and should be maxed** last**, here's why:
Her main role is JG but I feel she's globally viable, and would max her ability's in the same order in any role; R>W>E>Q.
Her human-W is very strong waveclear/burst, and her Spider-W is insainly high attack speed for not only Elise but her spiderlings. This spell is her bread and butter, offering ranged poke/waveclear+sustained damage/healing, making this a clear winner for maxing first.
Her Human-E stun duration and cooldown scale with ranks, and her Spider-E(I feel like this is the most underrated part of her kit) 40-100% bonus on hit damage+healing and cooldown also scale with ranks. that deals up to 80(+60% Ap) total on hit damage and 20(+20% Ap) total on-hit healing. Coupled with 140% bonus attack speed from her W it's pretty beast to say the least
So what about Q then? Human-Q point click low-medium ranged damage on flat 6 sec Cd, Spider-Q similar spell, slightly less range but it's a gap closer which is the only thing that stands out. It's also a flat 6 second cooldown and the only thing that putting points into this ability does is increase the mana cost and base damage.
Base damage... meaning the %hp damage will only change with Ap/Mr pen.
So really, why max this mediocre spell first when it serves it's purpose with just 1 point?
Why even max it second?
R>W>E>Q
