League of Legends Bootcamp
[zombie-brand-mindblown]
Hello, and welcome to league boot camp day 1- The first 10 mins. Your job is to read this, and report to me as soon as you are finished.
What we will accomplish today-
Last hitting CS- Seems easy? Well here are some stats for you. Max creep score by 10 mins - 100. Max creep score by 20 mins - 250. Today we will be starting with CS boot camp and you will play the first 10 minutes of a game with only the people in the lobby. Game 1: Get as many cs as possible by 10 mins. Your goal: 70/100 Game 2: Get as many cs as possible WITHOUT ABILITIES. Your goal: 60/100 Game 3: Get as many cs as possible with a bot in your lane. Your goal: 50/100
Your goal in this exercises are EXTREMELY LOW, but I bet you think you're hot shit and will think this is easy. And for this I've offered an option for you. Meet all the goals throughout each game and I will gift you a ward skin of your choice.
Last hitting CHAMPS- A little less easy you may think, but here we will do exercises not only with getting the last hit, but also how to set up for someone else to last hit, and that is a skill that requires practice. Basic Info
- Random people will not always set you up for last hit, so this is only REALLY effective in higher elo's. But also I'll tell you this, every good league player will use this info at any elo level. Example, you're Jungle and you're ganking bot lane, the adc needs kills and your job by ganking is to get him a kill, if you set it up, he can easily get the last hit and your team will be better because the adc will get gold which leads to items and items leads to damage and damage leads to killing and killing leads to wins (not only champ killing but also turret kills).
- People are greedy and they want their kills even if they have to steal it from you. This guide will help you get those kills even if the other person is a greedy bitch (Drew D.
) I will go over this in greater detail but the main point of it is, save an ability that will K.O. them for when they are low enough to assassinate.
How we will practice this
Game 1) Map: Howling abyss
2v1, one will be setting up the kill, one will be trying to last hit.
Game 2) 2v1, I will be trying to steal the kill and the other person will be attempting to last hit.
Game 3) 2v1, I will be setting up the kill, and the other person will last hit.
Poke-
We will be going over how to poke. Poking means lowering the enemy health and zoning them out of cs. The less health they have, the more likely they'll bitch out of cs and play passive, that's when you freeze the lane and bring in the gold. We will also go over what to do when the enemy is poking you.
Game 1) Poke bots, intermediate!!
Game 2) 1v1 me vs you for 10 mins in lane.
Your goal: Out cs me.
Right because if you think about it, you don't have to out cs anyone besides the person you're laning against. If you have more cs (and less deaths) then your lane opponent, there is nothing more you can do to benefit your team in the first ten mins.
Real time thinking-
We will go over the logical progression and though process of whether or not to engage, fight, or disengage.
When to engage - You are beating your opponent IN ITEMS. You can be 4-0 in lane but if you don't back and use all that gold, you are FUCKED because he's backed and has more items than you.
- A very important spell to use this advantage.
or
You have around same items, more health, around the same health, or slightly lower health and you KNOW you can kill him. Do not go into a fight if
- He's two levels higher than you
- He's a full item ahead of you
- You've clearly got less health than him
- You KNOW you can't win. - Seems obvious right?
We will be going over fights you can win, and fights you can't win in more detail. Even though you THINK you may be able to win, my system will tell you whether or not you should take that leap of faith.
Disengage:
Spell:
or
We will go over when and how to use this. This is so important I don't think anyone can stress this enough, but it can be really beneficial, and guarantee your life is safe, if you use it the correct way.
What in the hell is tp doing here as a disengage? I'll explain why this is such a helpful tool if you have it to spare, or are in a dire need of escape. You can tp out of anywhere in a flash! Being chased by the whole team b/c you have a 500g bounty? Trick them up by hopping in a bush and tping out of there in less than half the time it would take you to recall, just be sure you have quick fingers. Also can be used as a disengage when you're top and your team is struggling bot lane, tp on down, scare them off for your team and for the good of your team.
I know we won't get through all of this information on day 1! We will take breaks frequently and you will have time to show what you have learned in a graded assessment in actual game play.
Remember guys, if you get anything from day 1, I want this to be it. No excuses You died while counter jg-ling, it's not their fault for killing you. Over extended in lane w/o a ward? It's not their fault for capitalizing on your mistake. This and many more will be expressed to you. Please report to the lobby when you've finished reading this message.
