This isnt a selfish plug for my Youtube channel, Im not trying to be pewdiepie or anything, I actually was stuck in bronze for the longest time, and all I heard was "Get better" which just isnt helpful.

I looked up guide after guide, and it was usually high elo (Diamond or higher) Making some half ass video telling you to "Get better".

So in an effort to help someone out, here is my how to get out of bronze guide. Feel free to add on to my strategy Ive used the last few seasons in the comments of the video:D

Been smurfing a lot and the main reasons I see why my friends don't climb:

  1. Distracted - busy texting a "girl" on their phone
  2. Tunnel visioned - Spam ping them and tell them on mic to fall back mid is rotating - they don't fall back and later say "sorry, I didn't notice"
  3. Ask for help but ignore the answer because it's not what they want to hear - admit to yourself you need to improve, your team is not holding you back.
  4. Keep updated with the meta - My friends never read the patch notes. They don't keep up to date with items or champions that were nerfed/buffed. (this literally takes 5minutes)
  5. **Play more than 2 roles **- This new system of only knowing 2 positions hurts players. When someone has only every played ADC for example, they don't know the enemy junglers pathing/objective control thoughts - this can put yourself at a disadvantage if you don't understand the basics of each position.

Perfect example of #3:

I was bronze 3 and after your video I remained bronze 3. I didnt really listen, but my friend told me the same stuff you did, and it kinda hit home.

Honestly, a pretty good video. I would only have two suggestions that you could maybe add to a future video.

  1. Intimately know the approximate/exact range of your champions abilities/skillshots. So many times I have been able to counter someone trying to go aggro against me or push me to tower simply by catching them off guard and landing a max range skillshot. Also, this helps so, so much in early game when early lane aggression can be influenced by who is able to more safely farm and remain behind the longest to cs, due to preservation of health by safe play. Knowing your ability ranges with muscle memory makes this a breeze.

  2. Know when to follow your roaming laner, and know when to push lane. I'm a mid main, and I'm not able to play often but I am quickly rising out of bronze towards silver, gaining approx. 22-26 lp per win because of my mmr. If you are landing against a zed, leblanc, or someone with insane roam potential that can cover a lot of ground, more often than not it is more advantageous to push lane than it is to follow. Ping Mia and warning ping whichever lane the enemy mid was heading to, and perhaps even type in a verbal warning just in case. After that, push your wave to their tower to both deny cs and apply some generous damage to their turret, and even ping the tower or your jungle to let them know you have a clear shot at getting tower (possibly first blood turret.) The gold lead and damage lead on tower will lead to enemy laner playing a lot safer, giving you reign over the midlane domain.

Those would be my general tips for a bronze midland specifically. Other than that, well done mate!

I'd say another big thing to add is:

Learn to play your lane, accept pressure, and lose lane without crying and blaming your team.

I saw this video the last time you posted it a few months back on my main account. Im shocked to see you still promoting it, but I wanted to thank you. I was bronze 3 and after your video I remained bronze 3. I didnt really listen, but my friend told me the same stuff you did, and it kinda hit home. Thank you for trying to help. I know the last thread you did this got really negative, but there are people out there that appreciate it. Thank you. Subbed and liked the video.

I honestly just duo'd, grinded games, and hoped for the best.To get out of low bronze (yes i was b5 once) I played stuff like Udyr and just farmed splitpushed all game. Then to get out of high bronze I Played Darius jungle, ganked constantly, invaded constantly, and just snowballed every game. Do what works for you, but thats just how I did it back in Season 5.
