Some people in this game just don't pay any attention...
Kalista's free? Sweet. I probably won't be any good with her, but she's one of the only ADCs I have left to try, so let's do this! (Calls ADC) (Someone locks in Thresh) (Someone else locks in Katarina about a **minute **later) Once we're in the match, I bond to Thresh, and we start heading for bot lane, only for Katarina to be there. She then proceeds to tell Thresh to go top when I tell her to. (Explains to her how Kalista works) Kat: "Sorry m8." (She feeds bot lane, constantly sticking around and going in with next to no HP) Me: "Forget it." (Goes top lane with Thresh) Kat: "Are you serious?" Me: "Yes, I'm going where my ult and W passive aren't useless." Kat: "Kalista's on her period." Yay, sexist remarks! (Garen goes bot with Kat, who continues to feed) Kat: "Wanna switch, Diana?" Meanwhile Kat's Level 10 and Diana and Brand are Level 13. (Dies because she stuck around for a full minute just one shot away) Kat: "I suck at Katarina." You think!? She finished 4/17/15, with most of those assists just being from her always just kinda inserting herself into every fight she saw even when she was almost dead.
Did I go a bit overboard in my rant about her not knowing the main mechanic of a champion that's nearly half a year old at this point? Maybe. But, seriously, Kalista's been out for 5 months, and she's quite popular. How in the actual heck can there be people who haven't picked up on the whole bonded to the support thing? I get someone, say, not knowing about Azir's turret-building passive, as he only saw a notable amount of play very briefly before he was nerfed, but I just don't get how someone can play this game and somehow not realize, on some basic level, how Kalista works. Honestly, how!?
