I think on paper, a 25-30 minute average game doesn't seem that bad, so I understanad why people say "it's only 5 minutes shorter than before"

but see the thing was, this hugely doesn't count for the games when someone is more stubborn then their play skill alots for, and is blind to how far gone a game is and how realistic the players/champs are at recovering. when there is a game that is "over" at 10 minutes, but drags on for 20 extra minutes. where the players who are behind continue to make the same mistakes that got them behind in the first place, yet the opponents, being silver, don't recognize how easy they could push mid with their lead and actually end game.

I looked at the match history of a high-elo player, and half his games were 19-21 minutes long. the other half were 22-30 minutes long.

I know that you guys understand, riot, that champion win percentage is not an accurate reflection on champion strength. so why do you not see that for pretty much all the same reasons, average game length is not an accurate reflection on average game quality?
