Please keep Team Builder Riot

Hello Riot,

Long time fan and player of league of legends. I usually look at the forums but rarely respond. When I found out that TB was going to be taken down I felt I needed to respond. I love playing this game with my husband in normals.

When there was no Team Builder it was incredibly annoying. We used to have to fight for positions, and a lot of our champs would get banned. I usually had last pick, and often times my husband and I would get annoyed that we couldn't get bottom. I know some of those issues will be resolved in the new champ select, but I am not sure to what degree. There was something simple but great about just picking the character you want to play in the lane you wanted to play and just wait for a match. If I want to try new roles and just have fun it was easy to do so.

With these new changes I am afraid it's going to revert back to how it was. The game should be fast paced and stressful(that is what makes it fun), but the champ select should not. Why not keep TB mode for more casual players, or players that just want to have fun in different roles(like practice mode but with people instead of AI)? Why is it a problem to include the new champ select, and team builder at the same time?

I can't be the only one that's upset by this right? If Riot or PBE members can let me know if these fears are unfounded that would be great.

Well the new system will be sort of the same. You have like a 50% chance of getting your role(and of course then you can pick your champ) so it will stay pretty similar to what you had if not quite as perfect.

The reason they can't really keep both is because teambuilder queue times are already long, with the new system they'll get even longer. There's still a lot of people that like teambuilder, but enough would switch over that I think they foresee it becoming too frustrating to play. Although I think it might still work until they implement the replacement for blind pick, at that point it'd be dead.
