The Problem with End of Game Gifting

Yes, by concept this was a great idea. Now even your teammates can gift you champs etc., however, I can't remember the last time a non friend (friend in real life) has been generous enough to gift me something. Some people might want to get something gifted back, and the other person could just leave the lobby. In a normal game of league of legends, the end game lobby is not a friendly place. Usually, one or two people are blaming their teammates for their faults. What I am saying is that you have to do exceptionally well for anybody to consider gifting you something, and that person would have to be the nicest person in league to even consider gifting a random anything. I feel like this was only enabled to get rid of the "you have to be friends for so long before you can gift each other" clause. Because only friends (in my experience) will gift you anything.

This is my experience, so I feel a little biased to the way this system works. If any of you have actually been gifted by strangers, then let me know those stories.

Tldr: End of game gifting doesn't work, because of the typical league player not being that generous. It only works by playing with friends who you haven't been friends with long enough in the game.
