Upgrading Computer: Questions and Advice

I would post this on reddit or Yahoo Answers or something but like reddit didn't let me (screw that new user role, dumbest thing) and it was too long for Yahoo so here I am lol. Usually the boards is a helpful community though.

So I just bought some components for my computer after some research, but not as much as I would have likes. The reason I bought some upgrades for my computer though was because of the cyber monday sales, so before I install these upgrades I want to know if they are worth it, and if my system really will improve or if it won't matter too much. I want my computer to be able to:

-Livestreaming games with multiple programs (and possibly games) running at once. -High FPS on highest setting (I like around 120 FPS) -Was the upgrade worth it

My system right now can do some of this, but not to the extent I would like it to. It especially goes slow when I'm livestreaming and I experience FPS drops (in LoL) when I stream.

Heres my system as of now (Pre-upgrade):

CPU: i5 3570k @ 3.4 GHz GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 640 PSU: LSP 650W ATX Ultra Cooling: H60 Corsair Hydro Cooler Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H' RAM: Adata 8GB (2x4GB) ddr3 1333 MHz - HDD: 1000 GB @ ? RPM''

'Motherboard is ddr3-1066 / 1333 / 1600 / 2400. 32 gb max (Cocerninf ram). It also has a PIE x16 slot for the new GPU

''As for my hard drives, I don't know the RPM and which hard drive my computer is using. A while back, my HDD broke and corrupted my SSD somehow and I had to rnove the SSD as I couldn't even wipe it and add an HDD in its place. So theres two 1000 GB HDD's but only 1000GB of space so i don't know if the computer is using only one pr botb, but at the time that made the computer work so I didn't screw with it. I will though, because I bought an SSD and plan to use on one back-up HDD.

Here's my system after the upgrade (have yet to install):

Specs:

CPU: i5 3570k @ 3.4 GHz' GPU: MSI GeForce 970 100ME PSU: LSP 650W ATX MB: Gigabyte Z77-DS3H'' RAM: Corsair Vengeance ddr3 2400 MHz 16 GB (2x8GB) Memory: 240 GB SSD''' Memory: 1 TB ? RPM Cooling: H20 Corsair Hydro

'I plan to OC my CPU to around 4.0 GHz (it can do 4.6 GHz with good cooling I have read). Anyways, is this a good idea for streaming and to complement my graphics card? And should I stick to 4.0 GHz or maybe go higher/lower?

''Motherboard is ddr3-1066 / 1333 / 1600 / 2400. 32 gb max

'''Am I Able to transfer select programs (Like OS) from my current HDD to my new SSD? (I have to figure out which HDD though, anyone know how I could solve my dual-HDD problem as I explained previously?)

So all of these upgrades: MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming ME100 ($250), Corsair Vengeance ddr3 2400 MHz 16 GB ($100) and the Kingston 240 GB SSD w/ installation kit ($90) cam out to a toal of:

Total $450 (after taxes and such)

Was this upgrade worth it for (aka will it accomplish what I want it to?) or should I not install it and get my money back.

Thanks a bunch in advance!
