Suggestion for Queue-Dodges during Promotional Series

Recently, during my promotional series towards Gold 5 from Silver 1, i had accidentally left champ select. To my prior knowledge, i did not know that queue-dodging during a promotional series would count as a loss. For some background info, i had won 2 out of the 5 games for my promotional series, that 5th game that i had queue-dodge would in turn cause my to fail my promotional series into Gold 5. But in my mind i was thinking that if i win the 5th game i would finally be out of Silver. It turns out that i won the 5th game, but then i was replaced into my promotional series.

My suggestion for the game developers is if it is possible, to add a pop-up of some sort, to state that you have received a loss in your promotional series due to queue-dodging. It is not fair to the player, as he/she is led on to believe that they are going to be promoted to the next division or league, but in reality are replaced into their promotional series once again.
