@Riot, you make me laugh sometimes.

I'd like to start by stating that this is not a rage post, I'm merely evaluating a series of events and the perception that I had from it.

With the disclaimer out of the way, here's what happened. Bilgewater rewards announcement is made. I decided yea why not I have some spare money I can throw around some mystery gifts.
-drops $100 into the game-
-Gifts a couple on my friends list a mystery skin- -gifts self a few mystery skins.- -still has left over RP- Decides that since I own all of the skins I really want, and my friends don't have any they don't really want, why not just give it to randoms.
-Plays a match, gifts to the most interesting player on the team.- -Repeats process- I then think to myself "how many gifts have I given out?" 6 to myself, eek I didn't want to be that greedy, ~6 to my friends, okay I like that idea. ~5 given out to randoms, well I just need 1 more. -plays another game, gifts to a random- -checks time- crap its 10 minutes after the end of the event. I should send a support ticket in and see if they will credit it to me. -decides to continue playing and gifting (3 more gifts)- because I had some extra RP -Still had extra RP so buys the ultimates I didn't have- -goes to submit support ticket-

Support Ticket- me- blah blah them -blah blah me -information information them -No we cant make an exception.

A random mystery skin doesn't really matter to me but when I hit 17 during the event, with an 18th within minutes of the cutoff, plus having had multiple issues with their system screwing up and having to play another match to attempt to gift again, I just feel like "I went out to do some fun stuff for people I don't know as well as my friends. And they wont credit a 10 minute interval." Its rather depressing, which I don't know why because I own all of the skins that I want from the store. I guess it just makes me feel like my efforts were dismissed.

I guess to boost my morale about it all I will just think that they are rewarding me for the ones I sent out and the ones I gifted myself don't count. If I think of it like that it isn't so bad.
